| Mr.
Cisneros began working at Cooper in 1994 as a Bilingual Instructional
Assistant.
Also a professional
artist, he has exhibited oil paintings in Nicaragua and San
Francisco while producing a variety of cartoons many of which
have been published in news papers and magazines.
Other projects include coordinating and organizing summer
arts programs for children in low income housing projects.
One of Mr.
Cisneros gifts to Cooper is a set of decorative murals that
were made between April and June 1995 in the after-school
program. The murals now adorn the new Cooper hallways.
Aris says about
Cooper students, "They have taught me more than I can
ever teach them." |
